Brett & Jason's Story!
Our journey began in 2019 at the Cycle for the Cause kick off in May. Brett was a new participant volunteering as crew to support riders and Jason was returning for his second year on Team Eagle. Fast forward to the ride, where we met again while recuperating in a post-Day 1 dip in a hot tub and exchanged glances. After the ride was over, we added each other on Facebook but lost touch. That is, until 2021, when Jason reached out to Brett on Messenger responding to a post Brett did about his first time making chili. With new vaccinations against Covid, we decided to catch up over dinner in late October. 3 years later, Jason proposed on that very same charity ride and Brett said yes. And were married on Jan 18, 2025.
Our wedding was a celebration of love, surrounded by family and friends who have been part of our journey. The significance of our union is not just in the vows exchanged, but in the life we continue to build together, embracing every moment with joy and gratitude.
